Does anyone know the plans for RackShack support of PSA 5.0? It will supposedly be released this week.

Will there be an upgrade option for current 2.5 users here?

the upgrade to 5.0 will probably be the same as the upgrade from 1.5 to 2.0...the end user (you) is required to do it. And the last one was free to upgrade, per plesk. (I just hope you don't have to remove all sites and de-install plesk this time..lol)

You don't have to de-install plesk. All you hav to do is run a single .sh script. Also I don't think it's a free upgrade. A new key will be needed so that's going to be a problem.

According to PLESK, it's only going to be free for very recent purchasers, and RackShack has their own special license deal so no one knows how that plays out.

I suppose I need to ask support to get a real answer here.

actually...the information you had was news to me...guess I havn't been paying close enough attention to 5.0....I am inquiring at plesk about it..and will let you all know if I find out anything...other then that..I suggest making that we all post on this and make sure that HS knows that we want plesk5.0!

At last plesk 2.5 ,
I've read about the upgrade and it will be almost the same as upgrading from 2.5 to 2.5.5 but it says something about having to modify the httpd.conf file by hand ...
Any new about this and also the upgrade licence for customers with rackshack, We have recently upgraded to unlimited licence I hope that we will be able to upgrade soon !
