Hopefully I'm posting in the right area for this question.

I am using WHM/Cpanel, I have full root access.

I would like to take all the current emails and emails accounts from a domain, back them up.

Restore a backup of the full domain from a month ago.

Over write the OLD emails and email accounts with the CURRENT emails and email accounts.

If anyone can give a hand, thanks.

Rich, that is pretty easy in cpanel the emails are stored in /home/user/mail you need to make sure you backup that folder, then you can sync the content of it back to the email accounts back to them and it should keep both old and new.

Why you trying to do this? The backups probably have the emails you have now if it is a actual backup.

normally with open source software's the emails are at /export/home/ so you need to go to the location to copy all users mails. remember you must have root password to copy all mails. then you may aware to copy command. or you can also use FTP to copy all users mails again you need root account and password.
