TP should have Cloud hosting options. It is getting very popular thesedays. You get a bunch of servers together and using virtualization you sell hosting, like a person could get guaranteed cpu, storage, bandwidth, and RAM at a certain price. People can decrease their specs or increase their specs when they need/don't need it.

Example:

Guaranteed CPU: 7GHZ
RAM: 4GB
Storage: 200GB
Bandwidth: 10TB or unmetered dedicated 100Mbps
The RAM, CPU ghz, storage, bandwidth, is all upgradable to higher specs OR downgradable to lower specs.
Price: US$250/month

I'd want to see disk io performance guaranteed too with such a plan.

Great feedback! We're evaluating some options on the cloud computing side of things, so this kind of request is not out of the question. Keep an eye out for the next few months. icon_smile.gif

you should offer a European cloud too. So users can choose USA or Europe.

you should provide a variety of O/S images and also custom O/S images with cPanel/Mysql/Php included.

there should be a backup option too where daily backups are created by cloning the hard drive/s into an image that can be easily imported. the backups should be stored in raid10 away from the cloud servers so hackers won't be able to login to a person's cloud and delete the backups.

Take a look at newservers.com - they are offering bare metal cloud hosting. I imagine TP could adopt this quicker than a whole new aws kind of cloud offering, especially since TP must have loads of spare servers at any given point in time.
