Hello to all, i m thinking in leave my current host company because i have a problem with a joomla site, so i found so good information about the services that The Planet offer to their clients. Now i have a VPS account and i was talking with a sales representative to your company and there i found a deal by $69/m but the problem is that dont come with Cpanel, so i would know if some member could help me with 2 things before to take the decision to chenge.
1. could i contact any member for that he could use a subdomain and install a joomla site for me, so if this works i could not doubt in choose The Planet
2.-They told me about that Cpanel is not included and that have 25 fee monthly (too much for me) so is there a way that i could install it on my way?
Hope that i can answer those questions

What is your current problem with your joomla site and what resources does your current vps have (cpu, ram, disk space if that's a concern, etc.)
#1 I don't understand how the subdomain relates to joomla -- if there is just one site on the server you could install joomla yourself as well as apache, php, etc. from the command line, but it will take you a few hours if you're not familiar with such tasks. You'll also have to harden the server, remove unneeded services, install a firewall, install your server software, implement a backup plan, etc.
#2 You can buy an external license for cpanel and install it yourself, but I don't think you'll find it for less than $25 a month unless you are willing to pay a very large upfront fee (hundreds of dollars)
Are you sure you want to move from a VPS? I like dedicated servers because the resources aren't shared with other vps nodes making things a bit quicker in my experience, but at the same time with a VPS you get a cheaper cpanel license (or your vps host does who can then pass that on to you)...

Instead of cpanel you could try Webadmin
