Full Version: New Orbit DNS

Used the new orbit DNS admin tonight and personally found it lacking compared to what you had, I dont need to use it that often, but found this one much more confusing then the previous, not to mention if I needed to update a gameservers DNS before, I could edit it, save, then publish and it was active and resolved almost instantly, with this new one, I made the changes, then saved,updated ( no publish button anymore blush.gif ) and it still doesnt point to the server almost 15 minutes later. I know the 24 hour etc speech, but the old was instantaneous everytime.

I just sent you a quick PM to get some additional information so that we can work with our IT - UNIX Infrastructure team to troubleshoot why DNS propagation is lagging.

For those of us on the "Server Command" side, are we going to be able to Migrate to Orbit's DNS controls eventually?
