Full Version: Bandwidth Stats Script problem
The Planet Forums > API > API Support
chickendippers
Hi there,
We're attempting to use avantvision's script (http://forums.theplanet.com/index.php?showtopic=91240)

However it doesn't seem to be working: http://billing.valcatosupport.com/serverstats/index.php
Our error log shows: "An error occurred while processing your request for bandwidth. Please try again later."

The full error logged by PHP is:

CODE
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught SoapFault exception: [s:Client] An error occurred while processing your request for bandwidth. Please try again later. in /home/adam/domains/billing.valcatosupport.com/web/public/serverstats/today.php:11\nStack trace:\n#0 [internal function]: SoapClient->__call('GetBandwidth', Array)\n#1 /home/adam/domains/billing.valcatosupport.com/web/public/serverstats/today.php(11): SoapClient->GetBandwidth(Object(SoapParam))\n#2 {main}\n thrown in /home/adam/domains/billing.valcatosupport.com/web/public/serverstats/today.php on line 11

The Orbit username and password are correct and have API access.

Thanks in advance!

This is quite a nice option (and extremely cool to have working code given!!!)

One concern -- how do you feel about the load time? Does it seem to take quite a while to load for you too, or is it me?
chickendippers
Oooh. We didn't do anything to fix it, must have been something at TP's end?

Thanks avantvision for developing this, we will certainly be updating to the latest version. The next challenge is to integrate it with out billing system; WHMCS!

Yes the graphs do take some time to load, but I presume they are generated on-request so it's to be expected. They also take a while to load through Orbit.

My team and I have been concentrating on fixing any broken RTG graphs, so it's possible I've run across your account. If you're a former EV1 customer(account starts with E or RS) down in Houston, there was a 50/50 chance that Orbit wasn't calculating your RTG stats before November.

If your API isn't working right, login to Orbit and see if your RTG stats are showing up. If they're not, create a ticket and send me a PM with the ticket number and I'll take a look.

We aren't ex-EV1 customers, our login start with "c". However our hardware ids are 6 numbers long, instead of the 5 that avantvision's documentation says.

Not sure of the cause, just glad it's working

i already got reboot script working but no automatical reboot for me... just a generated ticket... pm those interested.

Think your error had to do with timeout issues i think the planet staff is working on this to make it better.

BTW WHMCS rocks i¡m cafreamoroso there.
