Hello,
We are going to rent a server (with Windows 2003 OS), install Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 on it and create 2 Virtual Machines. The question is: Do your customers use MS VS 2005 already? Do they have any troubles with it? Is there a need for some special (paid) support/setup?
We are asking because in one datacenter (your competitor's) they need to make special IP settings, create a subnet for our virtual machines and they charge $.. for the setup and then $.. monthly for the IPs/subnet.
Thanks.

You should actually try the free VMware server version for Windows Server.
It exceeds MS Virtual Server by a long shot!
You can use your assigned IP range for virtual machines.
Just unassign it from your host machine and assign it to a virtual instance.
All you need is the gateway on the virtual image with whatever IP you have been assigned.
You might have to tweak a few things but that is all part of being a server manager.
You might want to discuss this with The Planet but you are already assigned the IP addresses for your use within the ToS so there shouldn't be any issues.
