Hello everyone,
Im having a dedicated server here at theplanet and until now I havent had any problems. I havent done any updates on it so i think thats one reason I got hacked.
This weekend I got hacked on a couple of sites that using php. All their index pages got changed and in one account the hackers have uploaded som phising material. I have now suspended and deleted the account that has been hacked.
I think it was some kind of sql injection (not sure) and I dont think the hackers had full power of the hosting accounts. All the account has diffrent passwords. The most important sites didnt got hacked.
Im looking to hire a server tech guy to update php,apace etc on the server making it more secure then now. Also I want to make sure the current sites will work when php apace etc gets updated so I need experienced person and most important someone I can fully trust.
The server is currently using WHM.
Can you guys recommend anyone? Or maybe your a member here?
