currently I have 2 dedicated servers with the planet but all the domains I own were registered using ev1servers where you have a seprate account and password to modify your information, this page is found here:

but I can not register a new domain thru the page above so i have to doto:

https://orbit.theplanet.com/ using the same user name and password I use to mange my domains which is okay with me now but what if ( big if) I moved my 2 servers to another hosting provider then will I lose the new domains i want to register or will I keep my user name and password to modify these new domains in the future.

We actually have a special Orbit status for this -- if you cancel all of your servers (even if this is caused by an Abuse or Billing issue) your account will be set to "Domains Only".

This restricts many of the Orbit options, and most will no longer be listed -- however the Domain Management panel will continue to work as long as you have active domains, and you can still use a credit card to buy or renew your domains.

In short, the domains are treated separately from the servers. (If you want an example, I can set your account to this status temporarily. Just PM me, and I can give you a demo.)
