Hello!

I created support ticket, but it was closed too early and I do not have possible to clarify a few issues.

My question:

I want to add information about my company to IP Whois.
Tech support told me that it requires a full C block IP range.

Ok, if I order full C block IP range, can I use this IP's for new different servers at ThePlanet? For example - add 16 IP (from this range) for every new server which I order in the future.

and last questions:

What information will be indicated in IP Whois? Do you have any related orders, that I can see IP Whois (for example)?
And most importantly, wich documents will be reqiured from me for this order?
If possible, please specify the cost of this services.

Thank you!

If you've got a full /24 block (formerly class C) then they should be able to update the contact details to reflect yourself. This will show you as the admin contact for the block and the planet as the maintainer. UI think you'll find though that you can only use this block on one particular server, or if you have a private rack with them. Also, you'll need to justify the requirement for this size block.

Thank you for your answer. This information is useful for me.

Also, I wait a response from ThePlanet staff, to get answers for all my questions.

Unless you have a private rack, you will not be able to use the IP range for your "entire set of servers". The servers may be located in differnt datacenters, differnt racks, rows. the only way to overcome it is to have a private rack.

just my two cents.
