I had the unfortunate problem of being hacked again. This makes 3 times this year.
When I was hacked I was talked into ordering alpha level security services from the planet.
My os was reloaded and the drive with my files on it worked fine for 13 hours.
During this time I ordered alpha level security pacakage and was told by the sales manager that if I was hacked in the future that the security team would get the server working and even move my files to a a new server if needed at no additional cost. The alpha services security pacakage was added to my account and within a few hours the server crashed.
Under the plan it states that: "unlimited troubleshooting for security related issues".
This is a complete LIE. The planet is now trying to charge me 12 hours of admin time at $70 per hour.
The wording of the scurity package details is deceptive to say the least. It should say:
unlimited troubleshooting for security related issues at a reduced cost. It does not.
They are claiming the condition was pre existing although the files were up and working fine for a number of hours.

I also confirmed with the sales manager what was covered BEFORE placing the order.
Now when I try and make a claim they try and bill me by the hour. They made every excuse in the book.
One planet tech "Ricardo" actually tried to say there was a limit on the number orf hours.
Hmm, seems like he doesnt know what the word unlimited is. I strongly urge anyone considering ordering alpha services to reconsider because what they say they offer and what they provide is two diffeerent things.
This one of many complaints that I intend to file at over a dozen websitess. I was deceived by the Planet. I have been with the planet for 5 years and am horrified that they would offer a service and then when i try and use the service they say I am not covered.

My server has been down for days
Now all of my clients see placeholder pages.

Alpha services says that they want to bill me for 12 hours at 75 per hour but, this was supposed to be included with the package that I ordered.

I was so happy when the sales department said if your server is hacked we will fix the situation and even upload the fiels to a new server if needed.

Now I know the truth. Guess he forgot to mention the over $1,000 they want to charge me.
