Hey guys just want to start a new game Server. And i am not sure how to go about it.

It is better that i get a server of my own and collocate or should i get it from someone.

I have a VPs account with a company already.

Thats sponsored by them, as i am a student.

But ready to pay for this one so how do i go about it

Unless you have lots of $$$ and lots of time, It would probably make much better sense to simply purchase through a GSP, they do all the leg work and take care of most of the headaches for you.

As far as colocating, TP doesnt even offer it anymore I dont believe.

If you have never gotten into game servers before I seriously recommend finding a Game Server Provider and purchasing a server by the slot from them.

Most GSP's have an advanced web based control panel. By using that you will have to learn everything inside out before getting your own dedicated server and then running that same server.
