I used to have a server with servermatrix which I let go of a few years back.

I'm hosting a server with a planet currently.
But I need an unmetered server solution for files & videos.

Are there any available unmetered servers available?
I don't see any posted on the product page of the planet.

Yes, we have a few options for unmetered servers currently. We can deploy an unmetered Pentium 4 2.4+ or Dual Xeon 2.8 server for you.

We offer Cogent Unmetered Connections in the following throughputs and prices.
- 10Mbs = $200 Per Month
- 20Mbs = $360 Per Month
- 50Mbs = $850 Per Month
- 100Mbs = $1,650 Per Month

If you'd like to order a Pentium 4 or Dual Xeon with one of these uplink speeds I'll be happy to create a quote for you. I heard that our unmetered offering would be changing soon, but I do not know when that will happen yet or exactly what the changes will include, but anything you lease before those changes occur will remain the same for as long as you keep that server.

Ok, a correction to my previous post. It seems the changes that were a'comin' are already here.

The unmetered bandwidth is no longer exclusively Cogent, but is instead a mix of the same tier 1 bandwidth providers we already use. We are offering the following two sizes:

10Mbps - $ 200 Per Month
100Mbps - $2000 Per Month

This option is now available on any server we offer, a sales rep just has to order it for you manually (not on the shopping cart yet). Even old Servermatrix customers who signed up when it was exclusively cogent will now be routed through the Tier 1 mix?

Yes, though some may still be transitioning. So for individual server customers the answer is either "yes", or "soon you will be."

The tire 1 bandwidth is a large seller for me.
I hope you don't kill me on the 2gigs of ram and the cpanel etc.
