Full Version: Error: open_basedir restriction
The Planet Forums > Control Panels > Plesk
DBGToCOM
When trying to run a PHP script I get this error:

Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/dbgt.com/httpdocs/footer02.inc on line 9

The file is not in the wrong directory, but it doesn't include it in the php document.

I asked in the chat and someone told me to remove open_basedir restriction using telnet or ssh to access the configuration but I don't know how. I tried with ftp and of course got a 550 vhost.conf: Permission Denied. Basically, all I need to know is how would I be able to go into the conf and edit the file.

I am a complete noob to server management. icon_sad.gif
