Full Version: Reverse DNS not reporting properly

We have a number of clients who receive the following type of error (addresses changed) when they try to send mail to certain recipients. It appears that the PTR is not responding properly to their request for IP verification... Any ideas???

The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NAME@SITE.com
Delay reason: SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT
TO:<NAME@SITE.com>:
host eav2.gti.net [206.67.179.35]: 450 4.7.1 Client host rejected:
cannot find your hostname, [67.19.78.170]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks,
Anton

Better late then never, but create a support ticket in one of the support portals to have them put a PTR record to your IP address.
