I have 3 servers and all 3 are acting the same. You can get to the server but any thing that tries to go back out or resolve an IP to a name for an thing it will fail.

The servers can all ping and reach the name servers in resolv.conf just fine.

Any one else had or having this issue.

In the last days i have received several messages:
[ipcheck] Problems with dns setup:

And

And now i cannot send email within the site.

are you guys in H1 or H2? I have servers in h2 from the outage they lost some resolvers/dns for the servers. I had the exact issue you guys are talking about then I updated my resolvers in Cpanel for the server to the ones they show in the outage information page and its working fine , email can finally go out to the rest of the world etc.. hope this is helpful

Updated my resolve.conf with the information from they recommended.

With one server it wasn't taking so I issued a reboot from server command and now ite refusing connection on all ports icon_sad.gif

on other server is now working 100%

My other server I get messages like these

ping: unknown host domain.com
ssh: domain.org: Temporary failure in name resolution

when I ping a different domain it works.

Some strange things happening.
