can anyone explain why every night when cpanel checks for /scripts/upcp updates I see this :

httpupdate.cpanel.net could not be resolved to an ip adddress, please check your /etc/resolv.conf at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/HttpRequest.pm line 272.
httpupdate.cpanel.net could not be resolved to an ip adddress, please check your /etc/resolv.conf at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/HttpRequest.pm line 272.

Then I get an email instantly from the server saying :
IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname (my ip) resolves to . It should resolve to (my ip). Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.

Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you
believe everything else is correct.

everytime I get this all my email dies until i restart bind and email for the server. This all started once the H2 server had the outage, now I have to be the restart service guy. Any assistance would be amazing. By the way I have the temporary outage resolvers in place now and I will see if it does this again tonight but i dont know if its my server or the outage/network at this point.
