I am managing ~50 domains spread across five servers at two hosts and am considering moving things here. However I'm mostly ignorant when it comes to current OS and control panel choices.
I've been using cPanel, and have no real complaints, but I see Plesk, Ensim, and Helm are also available. Anyone have any comments or faves? I'm primarily interested in flexibility and stability.
I have some sites running on an older version of FreeBSD and some on CentOS, no experience with Red Hat. My primary issues for the OS choice are security and flexibilty, I have several joomla-based sites and want to be sure I don't have to turn on an FTP user to make those work.
Thanks all for any suggestions or advice!

In terms of control panels I normally recommend you stick with the panel you know unless you've decided you're not happy with it. They perform most of the same functions, and while they each have their advantages and disadvantages, nothing is worse when trying to move to a new server than having to learn a new control panel at the same time. On a side note, Helm is only compatible with Windows.
If you know how to use CentOS you'll find that Red Hat is similar. They use the same kernel and have the same applications, the difference is that Red Hat is updated automatically by the Red Hat Network and CentOS is not.
