ok Im having issues where I cant get Bind to fire up. I get the following error
none:0: open: /etc/named.conf: file not found
This is after a fresh install of cPanel on Centos 5 everything else is working fine but I just cant get this figured out.
I know the named.conf is there

What do you have that file's permissions set at? I think they are supposed to be 644.
I had this same issue a few weeks ago. cPanel was making a quick change to the file and f'ed up the perms some how.

make sure the file exists, then make sure the ownership is named:named. Then shutdown named (/etc/init.d/named stop) and try "named -u named -g" that will run it in the foreground, so any errors will be output in your terminal window(putty? xterm?).
