Hey all...

Had a client-to-be ask me if my firm can run a mail server for their emails (15 accounts) and NOT to also run their domain server.

That is, we would run the mail.clientdomain.com site and setup their email accounts -- and the current other firm would continue to run www.clientdomain.com but without the email.

Is this possible - as I always do both....and do know know how to "rig" things that way. What might be involved in such a change too? Is there an URL you could list that would help here?

:-)

We do that with our website.

Our website is hosted in AZ, and our email is hosted in house.

Just make sure your MX records point to your server along with an A record for mail.yourdomain.com and you should be good to go.
