yes and no.

If you have a ranked box for BF2/BF2142...then no.

If your box is non-ranked, then yes.

if its linux, SSH into the box and wget the file you want.

If its windows, RDP in and it works just like your at your desktop.

What would a Ranked BF2/BF2142 have to do with it? Its just another instant you would be creating unless you mean uploading BF2/BF2142. I mean like Cod4, TF2, WIC (world in conflict) etc, etc.

If your dedicated server is ranked, you will not be able to install unsupported games. If you have access to SSH or Remote Desktop then you can do it easily.

Are you running Linux or Windows.

I'm thinking you may be thinking that you can upload games not in cortex to cortex then have cortex manage them right?

If that is what you are thinking, then no, cortex won't do that..any games not in cortex have to be manuall installed and ran outside of cortex.

wow I just used cortex and thinking a lot in 1 post.

Windows 2003, An i can remote desktop it i can view all files etc.

Ok..so its unranked then..

Basically, just remote desktop in...fire up IE find the files for the dedicated server you want to run..download it...follow the readme or posted directions for that install...and your good to go.

What games are you looking to run on the desktop?
