Hi,

A client reported having sent some mails which never got to their destination. (This domain and user have been working w/o trouble for almost a year now and this is the first time something like this happens.)
Did some investigation and found this:

[root@ns1 ~]# cat /var/log/maillog | egrep 'm07KdkMI026759'
Jan 7 14:39:48 ns1 sm-acceptingconnections[26759]: m07KdkMI026759: from=<client@domain.com>, size=21252, class=0, nrcpts=1, msgid=<001901c8516d$771f1530$655d3f90$@com>, proto=ESMTP, daemon=MTA, relay=[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]
Jan 7 14:39:48 ns1 sm-acceptingconnections[26759]: m07KdkMI026759: to=<someone@yahoo.com>, delay=00:00:01, mailer=esmtp, pri=51252, stat=queued
[root@ns1 ~]#

BTW: The target domain is yahoo.com; don't know if it may be a cause.

And that's it !

The mail never got to the destination and the mail queue is empty. Any idea anyone?

TIA

Jorge

There's been talk about yahoo graylisting recently causing various issues (refusing initially, refusing if you retry too soon, but then accepting)

Ah!!! The whimsical decisions of these big mail providers kills me sometimes. sad.gif
