Have a game server I'm running with no control panel now that Cortex is dead, I keep trying to set the affinity for it in the task manager and while it will allow me to choose which core to run it on, when I click ok and close it, if I reopen that games process again right away checking affinity, it shows BOTH selected still.

Anyone have a fool proof method for windows 03 server to keep them assigned?

That should work Goordy. The only time it should revert back to both cores is if the programs closes then reopens.

Yep Doc, but it doesnt stay. I can right click the process, set affinity, not even close task manager, just wait about a minute, check it again and its back on both cores.
I know on process restart or windows reboot none of the affinity settings that were done manually stay, but this wont stay at all.

Any programs that I can set it for every start up? Maybe doing that will make it stick.
