Hey guys, trying to follow the instructions and having some problems - any help is REALLY appreciated.

When I do this

up2date -i gcc gmake make libcpp libgcc libstdc++ gcc4 gcc4-c++ gcc4-gfortran

I get an error saying that the following were not found : gmake, libcpp, gcc4, gcc4-c++, gcc4-gfortran

When I try this : up2date -i subversion
I get this : packages requested were not found

And when I do this : svn checkout svn://svn.mplayerhq.hu/ffmpeg/trunk ffmpeg
I get : bash command not valid

Any ideas would be great. Thank you very much in advance!

Make sure the packages are available on the RHN Satellite.

up2date --show-all | grep -i gcc

The output are the names that contain *gcc*, that you could install...
I'm not sure if subversion is available on the RHN Sat, so do the same for subversion....

If you are still running into problems with up2date, put in a ticket, and post it here so we can take a look at it.

I'm having the exact same problem that charlieaf92 has. Was there a solution? I'll submit a ticket and reference this post.
