Full Version: Wine Display Problem

Have a CentOS server.

To test a windows based game engine, installed Wine.

In order to test it I need to set Wine display to nulldisplay. But Wine now uses a config tool that also requires a display instead of the old config file format.

Not much information on this from what I can tell but I think there could be two solutions:

1) Has anyone manually configured the new Wine distribution and knows where I can alter the settings?

2) Find a remote server control option that allows me to run wine and windows programs on my home computer that reside on the server.

Any suggestions? I prefer open source solutions.

If your running CentOS 5, you could start playing with Xen, and try getting Windows installed on one of the domU.

I thought about Xen for a new server when that time comes because it looks like a fun system to fiddle with, and opens up many other doors.

For now I need to avoid downtime for the domains currently setup - in case of migration issues, etc.
