Hi Guys
I see the disksync FAQ/HOWTO documentation is lacking some configuration details or might be i would have not read it properly tongue.gif

I have installed Agent-Linux-5.60.2178.tar.gz on my server now how do i configure the backup's .. i mean where do i specify which directories to be backed up and when to backup. I looked at Schedule.cfg & Global.vvc but could not make out what to put there. I need to backup /home/http on daily basis.

Anybody interested in guiding me please help me... any URLs or documentations

You need to connect to it with the linux client, from there you can admin it.

Rohit,

To configure the jobs and schedules for Disksync, you will need the Agent Console. You can get it here:

http://downloads.theplanet.com/disksync/AgentConsole.exe

This Console is installed on your workstation and it connects to the VVAgent thats running on your server. Once you're connected to the Agent, you'll need to register it with the Vault. Then you will be able to configure the jobs and schedules.

The jobs and schedules and other settings are not typically edited from the configuration files directly.
