Can someone at I365 please tell us what new games will be included in Cortex and when?

I ask because ETQW is not up in Cortex as yet, will it be and when.
What is the future of Cortex ?
With the loss of Kevin and Josh aka: Logan the team seems very thin.

I for one would like to know The Planet's position on Cortex, and when and if Cortex 2 will be out.

Please, any and all info will help all of us here.

There is 1 person working at cortex right now, there have been a few threads but sounds he has his hands full with just support - let alone adding new features in.

There was a thread a week or two ago that detailed where they were heading, I don't think Cortex 2 has any sort of ETA. The other games had a list of priorities but no estimation on when they would be done. Basically I do not think there is anybody that can give you a solid ETA, just a "they are working on it" answer :/

On your list, as of right now MOH Airborne and UT3 could not be added to Cortex because the server capabilites of both are pathetic. Both put the configs in the My Documents folder and require an account to login to run as a dedicated server. That I read from www.fpsadmin.com's website, EA acknowledged that Airborne's dedicated server capability sucks and they are working on another patch to solve this issue.

UT3 is only out as a beta demo and the server files for that are aweful. I have a 24 slot Deathmatch up in San Jose, CA and the Windows Server 2003 exe does not even respond to command line arguments.

COD4 will be out in November

Crysis should also be out next month

Quake Wars will be a forgotten memory before it is added.

While I must agree with you Doc on MOH:A, I think UT3 will get a clear head and move on.....as the UT series does.

I am in hopes that the team "of 1" may get things in order and tell us what is up and what will get the can.

I feel us loyal customers should have some one tell us "the 1 " what is going on and what games will be installed.

I know that Kevin said the many games would be added right off as they came out and that they had ties with EA so they would be
ready to go in Cortex the day the game released.

I also know that The Planet had a training session to bring techs up on the cortex inner workings.


So, Planet, give me your official reply please, with sugar and cream.

They sell games and have release dates for most. If you sign up for their news, it will even email you when game release dates change.
