Tuxrox1,

I know and definitely understand. But as Bigdog and few others pointed out, Zach/Cortex DEV is so busy, as you can tell from their lack of posting here, that if you post your request here it never gets reviewed/heard by the correct people/area. So, in order to make sure that we are capturing those requests in a timely manner and getting it to the right people to have their eyes on it, its safer to open a ticket and insure that your request gets captured and responded to by the right people than it sit here in the forums unresponded to or responded to by someone like me who is far removed from the actual work that needs to be done and priorities that need to be set to get a game engine installed. As I stated in the other thread, it does you, our customer, no justice, and of course increases the frustration level because there are not responses posted that helps anyone.

I wish we did not have to do this and that we still had Kevin and all the others around that we used to have. But this is a different time and we are trying to support our Gaming/Cortex Community as best we can today.

I hope you understand and should you have a ticket that is open/pending with no response for a longer than normal period of time, please feel free to post here or PM me and let me know and I'll check into things for you.

Best regards,

Thanks for the prompt reply. I have submitted in a support ticket. Hope they can get to it so we can start to run the new games coming out soon.

To all Planet Subscribers, if you are reading this, please submit in your support ticket to have them support new games. If we all do it, they will do as we say.

Thanks guys,
Al

these are BIG game, we should not have to send a ticket to get them.
its commen sense to have them ready when the game comes out, you are the GAMEserver company, i hope you know what cod4 and sof3 are, cause i want my game server provider to be well informed with pc games and not wait for us to request big games like these.

I find it very funny now from the outside to watch all these OTHER customers come out of the wood work going...WTF where is my ________ game server? icon_exclaim.gif

TP has obviously not informed them as to what is going on, will gladly continue sending out invoices for services that they are no longer performing at the level customers originally signed up for. icon_rolleyes.gif

TXtoastZ I strongly recommend reading the threads in the Cortex Section!

lol, ive been doing that, the future is not looking good here from what ive been reading.
TP
Lack of psoting means there busy....lol
They never did post that much.
Zach & Sasan are all but what is left of Cortex.

Such a shame, this was a great control panel and had top notch support.

You might want to contract Kevin to do some work......Just an Idea

Hell, I would do the work but do not have that type of access.
doc
Sassan does not work for TP anymore.

omg sof3 is the worst game ever... E.T. was a better game.
if you loved sof2 like i did... Dont expect sof payback to be close to it .. No in game chat, no cd key..., no graphic settings... Just resolution...ahhhh. I wasted $40

Hmm.. would anyone happen to have the SOF3 servers files that I could get by FTP so I don't have to wait to try to get a copy ?

Sometimes it may be hard to get a hold of new games without camping at the store. COD4 sold out the first day here.

Thanks for anyone that can share by FTP the SOF3 server files. Please PM me.

Thank you very much for any help with that rolleyes.gif

Update: I've been reading on some forums that SOF3 out of box doesn't support a dedicated server. Also, it doesn't come with a CD key.

Can anyone confirm the above is true/false ?

I can confirm that it has no cd-key and no dedicated/console server. Maybe a patch will come out for a dedicated option or flag.

I should have my files uploaded in about 2 hours. PM me if you'd like the files, but based on the reviews I've seen the game is scoring insanely low.

Not sure what Activision was thinking on this one. They should have released it as an SP game at about half the cost in my opinion.

There's no way to host a dedicated server that anyone has found from what I have seen.

There's no console mode, it doesn't come with CD-Key as mentioned and various other problems with this game.

Only some people have hosted servers from the home PC since there's no way to run a dedicated server from the command line or dedicated server install.

Not sure if Activision is going to release any update to allow for dedicated servers or not. It seems they really did a poor job on this game. Not even having an in game chat ? Who ever heard of that in a multiplayer.

It almost seems that they meant it to be a Single Player game and tried to add in Multiplayer as an afterthought and shipped the game.

Someone also found that the readme file that comes on the disk refers to another game. I guess the editors missed that one.

I recommend saving your money unless you want to play a single player game that's not very good from the reviews. icon_eek.gif
