Doc or anyone?
Has anyone got a TF2 server running on linux, i have a ranked box and tried installing on a CSS instance with no luck yet.
Any help appreciated.

Yes Doc, but i dont know how to run the update srcds from a ranked box, also tried to find a dload link to the server files but havent yet.

You can't run updates on a ranked box. And to get the server files for TF2 you will need to use the HLDSUpdatetool. There is no single file download for any of the Source games.

Yeah, kinda figured...EA screws me again. heres what i tried though..
Booted into Knoppix dvd and opened console and ran the linux update tool to try to get the server files.
says i dont have a writable file system so it would close.
Just have to figure out Knoppix to write to my raid and it might work.

I have a question. I run the HLDSUpdatetool, but it doesnt download anything.

Will it ever be avaliable to install through cortex?

Many questions on many games, no answers for any of them.
