Hi,

My domain is registered with Resellone but I need to move to a new host where I can access a managed VPS service.

Is there anyone out there who can please help me get an EPP code? I've been trying with UK-Cheapest (current webhost) for over a week with no luck.

Yours

Frustrated.

EEP code's come from the registrar directly. If you registered your domain through a middle-man, you'll have to deal with them.

Registrar = Resellone - which is why I'm trying my rod and line in this pool.

I hope I've understood you correctly, but let me just double check.

You've registered domainA.com with TinyRegistrar.com, who in turn registered your domain with BigRegistrar.com. When trying to obtain the EPP code from TinyRegisrar.com, you're getting the run around. Correct?

If you are listed in WHOIS as the registered owner, but didn't register with Resellone directly, you could try and contact them directly. I have come across cases where the owners hosting/domain provider cause the user problems. In such cases, I direct them to contact the Top Level Registrar (in this case Resellone) directly, but this only works sometimes, and only if you're listed as the WHOIS Owner.

Thanks AYS, you have described my predicament perfectly.

I am the owner on WHOIS and Resellone is the registrar on WHOIS.

If anyone has an effective route of communication into Resellone can they please post it here or send me a private message? Thanks.

I am a little late with this and I may not be correct.

You should be able to get what you are looking for by going here
https://resellers.resellone.net/manage/

Once you are logged in, go to domain extras and get the code.

I hope this helps.

If you were never given a login to manage your domain, email support (at) resellone.net and explain the situation - I'm assuming they will need a way for you to prove you are who you say you are but as long as the phone number, etc. in the whois record matches where you're calling from, it shouldn't be too difficult.

Also keep on these folks at UK-Cheapest (tacky, but cc a message to them and resellone)
