Hi there,

I´m doing the setup of a new server but found a problem with the outgoing mail that the server sends.

Basically, all the outgoing mails from the domains hosted are marked as SPAM in gmail.

Anyone what can be the cause? The server runs sendmail, and I basically not touched anything in it.

PTR records for the hostname with matching forward dns?

SPF record for each domain?

On any RBLs ?


After doing the PTR/SPF wait a few days to get off the greylist and with luck it will work. Nobody knows exactly what the filters are so it is a bit of a guessing game
