So i'm trying to run a garry's mod server with a different game mode but i think cortex somewhere is running it as sandbox since thats the default and its conflicting with the gamemode i wanna run

posting this seeing if anyone has an idea or suggestion

i modded all my other game servers with no issue and im 50/50 on it being cortex not having all the cfg settings and conflicting with ones that were added

I was able to get it running gmdm as well when I tested it before sending it to you guys, can you give me some specifics so I can maybe fix whatever the problem is? Also feel free to PM me the IP of the server, or post it here, so I can take a direct look at what you have setup.

well i kept messing with it and its almost like i cant change the game mode off of sandbox, i gave up on it for the moment, but people are making new game modes for GM like story mode and spacebuild mode etc when i tried to run a spacebuild theres not much to it, its just add game mode mod to gamemode folders and the corisponding maps to maps folder and run server with the sv_gamemode (name) added to cfg, when u look at it it says its running in the game mode set, but cortex still says sandbox in status, and if u look at the startup crap when you join the game its almost confused on what its doing loading 1 then loading the other and then it looks like it loads both gamemodes crap for them to work, i think in the end it runs as sandbox but says running as spacebuild cuz it was acting like sandbox and not spacebuild doesnt help that GM is buggy to begin with lol

i deleted that instance but if you want i can rebuild that spacebuild server so u can see cortex contradicting rcon status
