Hi Guys

Currently running RHE on older P4 / IDE disks hardware. This is causing problems with larger db hungry websites. Want to upgrade the entire server to dual xeon, or quad proc server with more ram and scsi disks.

The current server is running everything including the name servers, and cPanel.

How difficult is it to transfer everything over with the minimal of fuss?

Thanks in advance
James Jhurani
Are you using a control panel? most control panels have a backup/restore feature that might help make the migration easier.

If you have absolutely no experience with linux from the command prompt, you may want to look into hiring a third party to migrate your data.

If you end up doing it yourself, just aim for the important stuff, zone files, website code, database, and email accounts.

Was planning on using cPanel. Not sure if that has the functionality to do a migration such as this.

May end up hiring someone to to do this.
