Many years ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I leased my first server, and RH9/Plesk 6 was the current version, Plesk did not deal well (if at all) with more than one hard drive.
I am getting ready to move in to the modern era and lease a new server with RHE4/Plesk 8, and I'm debating between one big fat honking hard drive, or a couple of smaller drives. For my situation, a pair of smaller drives has advantages.
So my question is does Plesk 8 play nice with multiple hard drives?

No it does not, its still back in the stone age in that regards. Anything you did with multiple drives you would have to do manually via ssh. At the control panel level you can do nothing.

It doesn't do well with multiple drives, but with redhat, you can use those multiple drives in a LVM partition (which can be extended/decreased at any time), and plesk won't know the difference. Currently my test machine is using multiple drives setup in raid with an cLVM/GFS partition on top.

Thanks! While maybe not perfect, it does give me an avenue to look at.
