I have a website with among other things a forum. This is on a dedicated server, so I have access to both cpanel and WHM.
Is it possible to just change the domain name so that the database doesn't have to be moved?

cPanel bases the DB name off of the username of the account, if you don't change the username the DB won't get touched.
