Full Version: NAS Solution very unreliable

Has anyone else had problems transferring data to their new NAS backup storage? Ever since we migrated from the BlueArc FTP to the NAS solution we've yet to transfer an entire backup successfully. We first tried scheduling a BAT file which mapped the network drive and copied our backup file (10-15GB in size). This was NEVER successful. About a week ago we changed the BAT file to copy the file to the NAS storage via FTP instead. This has been successful only once. The file *seems* to transfer successfully via FTP but when checking on the NAS storage via Windows Explorer the file appears gigabytes smaller in size than the local copy. Today's backup stored locally on my server is 12,882,589KB, while after ?successfully? transferring via FTP to the NAS storage it appears as only 9,911,987KB there.

Has anybody else had these same problems? I'm very disappointed in the reliability of this solution thus far.
