Should I do it? Should I switch to maildir?

Yeah, I ran that like a year ago when it was flashing mbox is being depreciated.

I think that's when I ran it, believe it or not. I just came across some maintenance notes for that box and wasn't sure if I ran it or not but wanted to check if I should.

Either way I got busted by James!

I'm curious though... What would be the symptoms if I hadn't run it weeks ago? That way I'll know whether I already did it or not?

Generally cPanel is good about backward support, so mbox would probably still work for the next few versions. But when they decide that EVERYONE should have switched over, your email might have stopped working properly.

But then again, i'm just speculating....
