Hello,

I have recently attempted to setup a SSL for a client in cPanel/WHM

We purcahsed the Certificated thru RapidSSL and it seams to check out fine. The Problem is serverside.

I cant seam to get WHM to install it and set up the domain with SSL.

When trying to instal the Cert We get the following error.

Attempting to verify your certificate..... Cerificate verification passed!
Verifcation Result [/C=US/O=ClientsDomain.com/OU=GT57701344/OU=See www.rapidssl.com/resources/cps (c)07/OU=Domain Control Validated - RapidSSL(R)/CN=ClientsDomain.com]
The CRT for the domain ClientsDomain.com could not be installed. Apache produced the following errors:

Finished Install Process..

I dont understand what the issue is and Im pulling my hair out. Any help would be great.

I was able to get the certificate installed just fine. But now I still cant get https:// to work.

Wow, I can't believe everyone missed this one.

Are you using WHM by any chance?

Ok, I should've finished reading your first post... Let me try to find some documentation on installing SSL via WHM. I've done it a few times but am a little rusty.

is the SSL port open?

netstat -lnp and look for port 443

does the clients domain have its own ip? If not... it will need to before SSL will work.

What happens if you restart apache manually?

Are there any errors in the apache error log?
