Hosted customer uses x-cart to enter 500 new products that are no where to be found the next day. Customer checked her entries at the end of the session and they were there, but the next day they are gone. I've been hunting around, looking for at least an explanation of this one, and I can't find anything even close.


Using cPanel/whm, latest release version.

Anyone know why this would happen? Ever heard of a thing like this?

It could be a lot of things. Just a few... mySQL needs to be restarted, DB corruption (try repair), script compromised and db wiped out, tmp directory full and sql cannot write to it properly and results in corruption, client is accidentally wiping out db table, poor script upgrade hosed db, script not properly compatible with sqlversion.
