When I get a Brute Force email I will do a IP check on dnsstuff.com and if the IP is not in North America, I just ban the entire range. I was doing my usual research yesterday on their site and it is now limiting IP queires to 4. If you want to do more you have to pay $36/year!?!?!?!?!?

Anyone else know a reliable IP whois site? I looked at others but it was listing the range as the entire Class B IP, where dnsstuff was showing the range exactly.

Wind up any ol' UNIX box and run the whois command on that ip address.

By the way, you can register for free and get the same old interface you've used in the past. I haven't noticed any limitations.

There's a lot more than just unlimited IP WHOIS lookups for members - Good value IMO.
