Full Version: Client on CPanel doesn't receive blat email

I just switched from Ensim to WHM and Cpanel. A client was getting emails sent by the blat email program on ensim, but now they don't receive them since I switched to WHM and CPanel. Does anyone have any ideas whey they don't blat email anymore?
Thanks

Just a kick in the mud but you did say that you "switched" to WHM/CPanel so you are "no longer" using Ensim, so there is no program to send them the email? I am no Ensim guru never used it never will but if you are talking about a program within Ensim on the server and you switched I would imagine that it no longer runs so it no longer can send emails, if you are talking about a maillist from the Ensim Group, then I would check their Spam Folders

IMHO,

Thanks for the reply. I'll clarify the situation. I did have a server which used Ensim as the Control panel. Now I have a server which uses CPanel and WHM as the control panel. Everything works fine as far as sending and receiving email. However, one of my hosting clients has a customer who used to send them automated emails using blat. They claim that since I have switched control panels they no longer can receive emails that their customer sends to them using blat.

Personally I think my client's customer has a problem sending emails from their end. However, I thought I would check to see if anyone else ever heard of a situation like this.

Possibly it has the old mail server cached still? Viewing http://www.blat.net/194/
It appears to be a mail client for windows. Considering it is a virtual command prompt client a ipconfig /flushdns may be necessary. IP caching is a very common problem with mail software, especially Outlook where restarting the PC is necessary with IP changes of the domain.
