VOIP Server Setup

1) Download BF2142 VOIP server version 1.25 (Windows Only) -> http://vetwebhosting.com/downloads/bf2142/...erver_v1.25.zip

2) Unzip contents to a folder on a remote dedicated server via remote desktop. -> Example c:\i365\users\admin\2142voipserver

3) Edit the voip.con file. The first variable is the port number of the VOIP server. We will use port 56025. The second variable is the password associated with the VOIP server. We will use password insomnia365. So your voip.con file should have the following line in it

56025 insomnia365

4) Execute the BF2142VoipServer_w32ded.exe A letterbox server will popup.

2142 Game Server Setup

5) Log into Cortex -> instances -> edit config -> advanced config

6) Set the following variables

sv.voipBFClientPort 56225
sv.voipBFServerPort 56125
sv.voipServerRemoteIP ***.***.***.*** put your dedicated server's main ip in place of the ***
sv.voipServerPort 56025

7) Save the config and restart the server.

8 ) If you go to your dedicated VOIP server you will see the following (I blocked out my server's ip address with a red rectangle)

I have tested it and it works. If you have any questions feel free to email me
