To Our Valued Customers:

On Tuesday April 10th, 2007 at 10:00pm CDT (GMT -5), we will introduce a slight modification to the Orbit ticketing system. This update is designed to provide additional account security. We want to alert about this change in advance so you’re up-to-speed and prepared.

Please note: This update is only to the Orbit portal, and therefore only applies to those customers who use the Orbit portal; ServerCommand users are not affected by this change.

When logging into Orbit as your account’s master user, you have the option for Orbit to e-mail ticket updates to your inbox or to any of your sub-users’ inboxes. With this update, the text and format of the e-mails will be slightly altered to provide additional security.

Instead of e-mailing actual ticket details to your users, Orbit will send an e-mail to alert you that a ticket has been opened, updated or closed, and also provide a clickable link in the message body. This link will direct you to the Orbit portal, where you’ll be able to see ticket details. This process requires Orbit authentication for you and your sub-users before ticket details are divulged, which means better security for you.

Again, this update to email-based ticket notification goes into effect on Tuesday April 10th, 2007 at 10:00pm CDT. Please keep this in mind when you consider any changes that may be required to your e-mail filters to accommodate this alteration. You may also turn off feature simply by visiting the “Orbit Setup” link from within the portal and adjusting individual user privileges.

If you have any questions, just submit a support ticket and we will be more than glad to assist.

We appreciate your business and look forward to providing you with additional updated services.
