Hi,
Many of you must have faced problem in "Help" tab when using Exchange Server 2003's "system manager".

Cause of problem : Internet Explorer 7.0

General troubleshooting tip : Close your eyes and uninstall IE 7.0
( It shows dependencies , ignore them. But be careful. Take backup before you do this. After uninstalling IE 7.0, your browser will be reverted to IE 6.0 . )

Other Method : Not available so far, how ever Microsoft announced a patch which doesnt work always. icon_eek.gif

I don't have problems with System Manager, I simply remind it that klaude is my right hand man and behind that mustache is Linux install disks of fury. It usually behaves after that.

Me also dont have any problems with "System Manager" of Exchange. but..Woops ..When I click on "?" this symbol located right hand corner at top, it shows typical windows error. And it's due to Internet Explorer 7.0
When you need specific help for Exchange, there is no use of linux at all.

may be linux can help you to recover crashed edb database of exchange..Ha ! But linux can not help you to repair help contains associated with Exchange & Windows Server 2003 by default. cool.gif

The only way> take a packet of potato chips, sit in front of server, enjoy the food while IE uninstalls.... laugh.gif

No, because my first point of call is google and not the built-in help - I normally find the answers more quickly that way! Microsoft's help always appears to be written by people who know exactly what they are doing for people who know exactly what they are doing. Mere mortals like myself need a little more hand-holding than that icon_mrgreen.gif

I wouldn't install IE7 on my server unless I was forced too, same goes for my personal PC. I have seen far to many things break in a Microsoft environment when IE is updated.

I have IE7 installed on one of my servers. That said, like Cprompt, I rarely use Microsoft Help. I'm more just f***ing google it.

While we are discussing exchange 2k3, I'm going to derail this thread and ask if anyone knows how to set up a user to receive multiple addresses to one mailbox. Ex
rabbit and rabbit994 go to klaude mailbox on exchange server.
