To maintain the highest level of quality in our data centers, we will be performing an upgrade to our Red Hat Network (RHN) satellite server in the Dallas data centers. The upgrade will eliminate the daily 4 a.m. – 5 a.m. CST down time Red Hat customers experience during cold backups. The new RHN satellite server will also ensure we’re able to support customers interested in our future RHEL 5 offerings.
We’re providing advance notice of the system maintenance to ensure you have ample time to plan and prepare for the down time so we can minimize the impact.
Maintenance Date and System Affected:
Wednesday, April 4
- Planned Maintenance Time: 4:00 AM – 8:00 AM CST for up to 4 hours
- Systems Affected: Dallas data center customers running Red Hat will be unable to run up2date on their servers during the maintenance window.
