Hi all, I need some help. I am currently running a win2k3 box that is already setup to host 5 or 6 domains through DNS. I would like to setup exchange 2007 on this box, but I have ZERO experience with Exchange or Active Directory.
My question is, how do I setup AD on a box that already has the domains registered through DNS? Since I'm using ns1.theplanet.com as a nameserver for my domains, it is giving me an error when I try to setup DNS on the domains.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

You can't, you must use local DNS.

You can have your domains hosted by ns1.theplanet.com, but as Rabbit said, DNS must be running locally to use AD. You can use ns*.theplanet.com as forwarders in your DNS so that it performs name resolution and you don't have to expose your DNS to the outside world, it's just for AD.
