this may be the wrong place for this, but i wasnt sure where to put it

okay heres the thing ---------

i have noticed that when i do a search in IE -- say through google for deviant art, when i click the link, it redirects me else where. i have to click the link about 3-4 times to get to the actual site that i want.

now, i have run spybot, hijack this, cwshredder, ad aware, avast, along with a few others i could think of and it hasnt fixed the problem. does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this other than just using firefox instead. as much as i hate to admit it, i am used to IE. also, it takes about 5 min for a reboot now.
