Quoting eth00's quick start howto guide...

Go to “Real Server” this is where you will physically add your servers. Every server that you intend to be controlled by the load balancer must be first placed here. Note that the network will only support servers on your rack or switch and not anywhere remote due to the limitations of the slb unless specifically configured.

I am wondering if anyone knows how to configure the SLB to load balance remote servers as well. This is not for any TP servers...I'm not messing with that SLB, but the company I am working for with servers in a Cogent DC decided to do change to Direct Server Routing...and it's not working too well. Is DSR the only option for the remote SLB?

Whether the IPs on the servers are the actual external IPs or internal 10.1.0.0 network IPs does not matter so much. The NAT IPs would work better, but either will do.

Thanks for any input.
