hi i have some problem with ssl please help me as i am a fresher to this ssl implementation

My site got installed with ssl, but i am not getting ssl certificate on my browser. i am giving it as www.url instead of https://www. When i entered with https://url i am getting my certificate displayed on my broswer.But i want default instead when i enter only url instead of https:// or http://

so please give me brief explanation and suggestion regarding this topic tomake work my ssl

If you want your users to get the SSL without typing "https" then you need to redirect http://www.yoursite.com to https://www.yoursite.com. Apache and IIS will treat both of these as different web sites (because they run off different ports, 80 for http and 443 for https) so just put in a redirection from one to the other.
