been a while guys...
from the looks of things, it seems that the servers have gone through some interesting "changes" since I was gone.

any have any advice for a new pci-e card to match up with an e6600 core 2 system? should i grab a cheap 1950 or go up to an 8800 card or wait for ati's new direct x 10 card... or just wait until a new game comes out like Crysis where i will actually need it...

and without starting a flame-fest... how many old school regulars are even playing on Sharqi now? it sounds like the lag is still pretty bad and the admins have changed things quite a bit? PM me if you don't want to start a public debate.

Well trepid is banned permanently from the servers for 'terroristic threats', they've banned me from their ts and their forums. Lots of regulars still play there, Mac is an admin, as is seabiscuit. It's still fun except for some of the petty rules. It's the only server I play on still. Though I'm starting with Moo and will soon move to their servers.
ZekersSneakers
I have a dual core e6600 also, I decided to get a 7950GT KO (getting the first of the new series is always a bad idea). I run the game with everything on max at 100+ FPS (AA/AF disabled, to save some fps while frapsing). I would definitely recommend it.
